Scripture provides much comfort for those of us who trust in the Lord. When we find ourselves afraid because of difficult situations we may face, we can be encouraged that God is with us.

[Psalm 34:4] I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

[Proverbs 1:33] But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

[Isaiah 41:10] Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

There is no situation we face that surprises God. None that He cannot help us to endure. Our troubles and challenges are never as big as our God. I find much comfort in seeking Him and laying my fears at His feet. I find peace in knowing God through Jesus Christ.
